Jordanian media delegation visits Kingdom

Beijing, April 13 (Petra)--Acting Charge d'Affaires of the Jordanian Embassy in China Hamzah Al Omari met in Beijing with a Jordanian media delegation currently on a visit to China.

Al Omari said that there are 3,000 Jordanians in China, including students, businessmen and investors, who are provided with all facilities by the embassy.

He pointed out that the volume of Chinese investments in Jordan amounts to $1.5 billion while the volume of trade exchange between the two countries stands at $3.2 billion.

Al-Omari said that he discussed with officials from the Chinese Ministry of Agriculture possibilities of dispatching Jordanian agricultural engineers to China to receive training on cultivation in arid areas.

He stressed the importance of enhancing media cooperation with China and its role in expanding cooperation between the two sides. " We celebrate this year 42nd anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries, which receive attention and care by His Majesty King Abdullah II and Chinese President Xi Jinping," he added.
