Muhammad Yunus, the interim leader of Bangladesh, is expected to make his first state visit to Beijing on Wednesday.

This four-day-long trip will mark his first highest-level bilateral engagement with a global power.

Yunus is anticipated to join the Boao Forum for Asia, which was established in 2001 to talk about important Asian topics like multilateralism and trade.

Mark Rubio to visit Jamaica, Guyana and Suriname

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio will visit Jamaica, Guyana and Suriname on March 26-27.

During the visit, Rubio will discuss bilateral ties with Caribbean countries and attempts to counter illegal immigration and crime.

Russian Arctic forum

The “Arctic — Territory of Dialogue” International Arctic Forum is scheduled for March 26 and 27 in Murmansk.

The event, which is anticipated to draw over 900 firms, will centre on important conversations about the Arctic, with a special emphasis on the Northern Sea Route, which is essential for managing the region’s economy and environment.

Berlin transport strike

Public transport in Germany’s Berlin will face significant disruptions again this week as transport employees stop work for 48 hours from Wednesday.
