This April, a beloved noughties TV show is landing on Netflix, 13 years after its final episode. The medical drama House first aired in 2004 and ran for eight series until it came to an end in 2012.
Featuring actor Hugh Laurie as Dr. Gregory House, the programme follows the cynical doctor who is often clashing with his colleagues and breaking the rules, all while battling his own addiction.
Although it's currently available to watch on Prime Video, it'll also be available to watch on Netflix from April 1.
A synopsis for the show reads: "At fictional Princeton Plainsboro Teaching Hospital in New Jersey, prickly genius Dr. Gregory House tackles health mysteries as would a medical Sherlock Holmes, all the while playing mind games with colleagues that include his best friend, oncologist James Wilson.

"House, an acerbic infectious disease specialist, solves medical puzzles with the help of a team of young diagnosticians. Flawless instincts and unconventional thinking help earn House great respect, despite his brutal honesty and antisocial tendencies."
At the time the show aired, it received high praise and success. Over the years, House has won a total of 58 awards, including two Golden Globes and five Primetime Emmys.
On Rotten Tomatoes, the show has an 89 per cent positive rating and scored 96 per cent on the popcorn meter. People have nothing but praise for the show, as one person said: "Peak fiction…. Absolutely phenomenal…."

Another wrote: "One of the best TV shows ever made." Someone else commented: "Perhaps the greatest series of all times. And for once in TV history, it remains great to the last episode of the last season."
One fan said: "Adding to the generally exceptional production values, the cast is believable and compelling." While someone else simply wrote: "Best drama series, hands down."
Another shared: "Loved every episode and have bought all the seasons. I could watch this forever! Hugh Laurie was perfect for this roll." As one person said: "Thanks for the enjoyable ride, House. I'll miss your endless sarcastic wit, your perfect stubble and your brutal honesty."

When the show came to an end 13 years ago, actor Hugh Laurie explained they didn't want viewers to lose interest.
At the time, he told radio show Fresh Air: "I certainly felt - and I think that [this] was a general view - that we should fold up our tent and steal away into the night before the tension had lessened."
Although House isn’t the only show landing on Netflix this month as people can also expect to see See No Evil: The Moors Murders, The Replacement and You.
