Field Marshal Birhanu Jula in Rwanda for Working Visit

Addis Ababa, April 15, 2025 (ENA) --- Chief of Staff of the Ethiopian National Defense Forces, Field Marshal Birhanu Jula is on a working visit to Rwanda.

General Mubarak Muganga, the Army Chief of Staff of Rwanda, extended a cordial welcome to Field Marshal Birhanu and engaged in bilateral talks between the defense forces of the two nations.

At the end of the discussion, both parties signed MoU on the guidelines for implementing and advancing the previous MOU that was signed last March during General Mubarak Muganga’s official visit to Ethiopia.

Field Marshal Birhanu's visit has been a significant step in strengthening the bilateral cooperation between the two nations, reflecting their strong dedication to enhancing collaboration aimed at promoting regional peace and security.

During his visit, Field Marshal Birhanu also held talks with Paul Kagame, the President of Rwanda.
